THE WAX BEHIND THE STEEL COLLECTION

Every candle in the Steel Collection uses the same natural wax blend as the Glass Collection. Coconut, rapeseed and soy. Three plant based waxes chosen because together they create a foundation that no single wax can match.

Coconut wax improves scent throw, ensuring the fragrance fills a room effectively from the moment the candle is lit. Rapeseed wax supports a slow, gentle burn that releases fragrance gradually rather than all at once. Soy wax adds longevity and stability, maintaining the fragrance character consistently from the first burn to the last.

The Steel Collection candles are larger than the Glass Collection. Each one contains more wax and burns for up to 50 hours compared to 40 hours for the Glass Collection. The fragrance is developed in house using premium fragrance oils blended specifically for each scent.

HAND-POURED IN LONDON IN SMALL BATCHES

Every KOADE candle is hand poured in London. Not assembled from pre-made components. Not produced on a factory line. Made by hand, in small batches, with the fragrance blended carefully for each pour.

HOW TO GET THE BEST FROM YOUR STEEL COLLECTION CANDLE

A few simple habits make a significant difference to the quality and longevity of any premium candle:

• On the first burn, allow the candle to burn for at least two hours to encourage the wax to begin melting evenly. Some KOADE candles may not reach the full edge of the vessel on the first burn. This is normal. As the candle burns down across subsequent burns, the flame gently heats the vessel which helps the wax melt more evenly over time.
• Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn to maintain a gentle flame and consistent scent throw.
• Never burn the candle for more than four hours at a time.
• Keep the candle away from draughts which cause uneven burning and reduce fragrance quality.
• Replace the lid between burns to preserve the fragrance.
• When the candle has finished, clean out the vessel. Brushed stainless steel is easy to clean and the vessel is built to last as a decorative object in its own right.
